Smiling all day

Today there was a lot of laughing and giggling. I mean there usually is, but today it got my attention more.

First off the twins (Dallan and Evalyn) are getting to be quite the pair!! LOL It is SO different with two of them, at the same time, in all aspects. They are ALWAYS together, 24/7. They do EVERYTHING together, right down to pooping and sneezing at the same time!

Today they were crakin' each other up, over what, I really have no idea! Evalyn was standing in the corner with a flash light and Dallan was rolling around on the floor in a fit of giggles. He would sit up and look at her and then back to the floor he would go laughing again. Evalyn was just standing their holding on to that flash light, binki in mouth, craking up looking at Dallan and trying to keep the dang binki in her mouth.

Then while I was giggling my self, watching this hilarious antic going on, in my back yard was filled with the sound of Ethan, Jackalyn and Zowan squealing and giggling too. They were engaged in a water fest! They were filling up the plastic kiddie pool (the one with the hole in it) and standing in it and splashing and then they were running around spraying each other with the hose, then they were on the trampoline with the hose on it!!! It was so nice to see and hear my house and back yard filled with the sound of my childrens laughter. I don't know that there is anything better than that sound.

Now my house is filled with all the little noises they make when they are sleeping. Little sighs and snoring and breathing. Little wiggles and angel faces.

Being a Mom can be very taxing, but where else can you have your cup suddenly over flowing in the matter of seconds?!! Children are so very precious and I LOVE mine so much. Where would I be with out them, they make me Me!

Love you Ethan, Jackalyn, Zowan, Evalyn and Dallan

Reading fetish :0)

So in the month of June I read a total of seven books :0)
Hush, Hush and Crescedo by Becca Fitzpatrick
Fallen, Torment and Passion by Lauren Kate
Everlasting by Alyson Noel
The Help by Kathryn Stockett

I am a book enthusiast, if you can't tell. Every night I read for a few hours. I get the kids to sleep and then reading is my "me time." My time to unwind, relax and dissapear to another place. I love all kinds of books. And my library is one of my most treasured rooms in the house.

I am working on my kids to be book enthusiasts as well. :0) They have their own library room as well and I love to suddenly realize, "My kids have been really quiet for too long, what are they up to!?!?" And then to find them all sitting on the floor in various posses (cross legged, lying on their tummy proped up on their elbows, etc) in their library looking thru books. Makes a Mom's heart swell a little. Even though I get a little annoyed to find all the books on the floor and all of the nice neat rows in disaray. But hey they were expanding their minds and learning.

I have dreams of one day publishing a book of my poems I have written over the years. But I will probably publish it under a totally ficticious name, because they are all dark and unhappy. I usually only write when I am feeling extremly blue. :0( I guess I need to expand my horizons and write some happy ones too.

But so far I am involved in a much more important task. It started almost nine years ago and has expanded a lot. It is a life long writing that I hope will be appreciated. I have a journal for me and one for each of my five kids. I have filled quite a few journals!! I have it on a daily rotation, so everyone gets their journal written in once a week. It has been greatly neglected this past year, because I just didn't have the time (with brand new twins), but I'm trying to get back into the habit again.

This is also part of my bed time routine. I do this before starting to read :0)

If you can't tell already, I am a great reader and writer, but an AWFUL speller, especially when trying to think of how things are spelled when I have had a lack of sleep. But this blogger doesn't have a spell checker that I am aware of so you will just have to deal with it people :0)

I DID IT!!!!

With the help of friends I am now out there and viewable to people. YAY!!!

Today found me in my library, rearranging, dusting, windexing and other wise happy getting my hand on my treasures!!! For those of you who don't know me well I LOVE BOOKS!!!! I have an obsesion with books.

I love to read, read, read. And I make it a point to read everyday. I love all different kinds of books and I am passing on my love for books with my kids. We read instead of watch tv. We do not even have cable, can't even get the free chanels or anything. We have a tv, but use it for movies only and that happens not more than 2 times a week usually.

Well I am off to play musical bath tuns with the kids :0) good night all

How the heck!!! :0{

So wow, I have a blog and so far I have not figured out how to tell anyone or make it so that people can see it. So what is the point of having one!?!?!?

Plus, honestly do I really have the time to blog??

The next few days will prove the death or growth of this thing.

This new thing called bloging!!!!!

So after searching and designing I am finally writing!!! I designed to my little hearts desire only to find out I didn't so something right and it all went away!!! Grrrrrrrr. So I'll have to try to attempt that again later.

We are going to now hit the dirt in a full on sprint. Ethan's school awards picnic is in one hour. We need to load our 5 pieces of fresh cargo after we do a diaper check and move a car seat. Then I need to frantically check the diaper and wipe supply in the car, get bottles and formula ready, put hot water in the thermos, make sure we got everything again. Ge3t in the car, hurry, hurry, hurry. Stress the whole way there that we forgot something or someone........1,2, 3, 4, 5, nope everyone is here!!!

Rush to a store for the side dish we are supposed to bring, oh ya, we are also supposed to have our own place settings and drinks, and something to sit on He He

Chat, eat, watch with pride as Ethan gets his awardss and then rush home to kids being hours past their bed times, me worn out and cranky and already stressing about tomorrow!!!

More on that tomorrow :0)
